Meryl is a veterinary medical student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, planning to graduate in the spring of 2018. A lifelong lover of animals, she is happiest working the human-animal bond that makes the profession so rewarding. Meryl worked as a veterinary assistant in an exclusively canine and feline practice for three years before veterinary medical school, and her summer spent at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Minnesota opened her eyes to the fascinating field of wildlife and exotic medicine. That combined with her own spoiled pet rabbit helped her decide that she couldn’t choose just one discipline. Meryl hopes to spend her career working with a variety of companion species, whether they are covered with fur, feathers or scales!
Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital would like to wish Meryl continued success and a tremendous career in Veterinary Medicine.
